The Gardiner Lab is looking to accept 1-2 PhD or Masters students to start in the Fall of 2025 and/or 2026!
Graduate students are not directly admitted into a lab, thus prospective graduate students must first apply to a Tufts University graduate program. We currently can advise students accepted into the Biology PhD and Masters programs. Please refer to the department’s graduate admissions guidelines for more information. Once admitted, students do rotations in a minimum of two labs so its important to be interested in more than one lab in the program!
Interested graduated students are encouraged to contact Professor Gardiner ahead of submitting an application with their CV and brief overview of their research background and interests no less than 1 month before the application deadline. Having a different background from the research done in the lab is not viewed negatively. However, you should clearly articulate why you are interested in joining the Gardiner lab - specifically - and how being a part of our team will help you achieve your personal career goals.
