Welcome to The Gardiner Lab

ENTER THE (EXTRACELLULAR) MATRIX

Our People

View team
We are a collaborative team dedicated to performing rigorous, cutting edge research to advance our knowledge of virology, fibroblast cell biology, and cancer biology. We aim to have an impact on society not just from our research, but also by bridging science and art to communicate science more effectively and mentoring the next generation of critical thinkers.

We have a 'work hard, play hard' mentality and that supporting one another to achieve our goals go hand-in-hand. Moreover, we believe that science is for everyone and should also be fun!

Our Science

View projects
The Gardiner lab uses a mixture of microscopy and other cell biology techniques, bioinformatics, and in vivo mouse work, to understand the biology behind fibrosis and related diseases (e.g. liver fibrosis, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer).
